Are your needles disposable, is your clinic clean?

Australian legislation requires all clinics where treatments involve penetration of the skin use disposable needles. Sydney Acupuncture Clinic is fully compliant. Our clinic is very professional and maintains the highest hygiene standards.

Does Medicare cover acupuncture and Chinese herb?

Unfortunately western medicine and governments are still catching up on just how beneficial Chinese Medicine can be. Used preventatively Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine could potentially save the Government billions of dollars every year.

As such, Medicare does not yet cover acupuncture, however most private health insurance firms cover acupuncture and you will receive a rebate depending on your level of cover.

How long does treatment take?

It takes almost one hour for Acupuncture including consultation. If you come only for herbs, it takes about 20-30 minutes.

How long will I feel the result of the treatment?

Generally chronic problems take longer, acute problems take less time. Older people take longer, younger people take less time. Weak people take longer, generally healthy people take less time. The quickest result is you will feel better straight after the treatment.

What can I do to let the treatment last longer?

Generally as long as you have a regular proper life style and proper diet, the treatment will last longer.
